Terms of Use
Effective date: June 12, 2026
- The free water report is educational — it summarizes published utility test data, it is not a lab test of the water inside your home.
- The Home Water Checkup is genuinely free, with no obligation to buy anything.
- This site is operated by SwiftPro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a licensed Virginia contractor.
1. Who we are
My Free Water Report (myfreewaterreport.com, the "Site") is operated by SwiftPro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing ("SwiftPro," "we," "us"), VA Class A Contractor License #2705192276, 4230 Lafayette Center Dr, Suite N, Chantilly, VA 20151. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. What the free water report is — and isn't
- The report summarizes publicly available water-quality test results for the utility that serves your ZIP code, as compiled by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Tap Water Database, alongside EWG's health guidelines and the federal legal limits. Where we show a date, the data reflects that compilation date.
- EWG's health guidelines are advisory benchmarks set by EWG's researchers, not legal standards. Water that exceeds an EWG guideline is usually still within federal legal limits. We show both numbers so you can weigh your own options.
- The report reflects utility-level testing, not the water inside your specific home. Plumbing, water heaters, and fixtures can change what comes out of your tap. The only way to know your own tap is to test it.
- The report is not medical advice. If you have health concerns about your water, talk to your doctor, and see your utility's Consumer Confidence Report for its official data.
3. The free Home Water Checkup
If you request a Home Water Checkup, a SwiftPro technician visits your home, checks things your utility's report can't see (water heater condition, pressure, hardness), and explains what — if anything — is worth fixing. The visit is free and carries no obligation. If a treatment option makes sense for your situation, we'll explain it and quote it; the decision is entirely yours.
4. Our relationship to you
The Site is a free resource built and funded by SwiftPro because informed homeowners make better decisions. We're a licensed plumbing contractor — if you choose to fix something, we'd like to earn that work, and we say so openly rather than pretending to be a neutral third party.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Site: no scraping at abusive volume, no attempting to access non-public areas, no using the Site to mislead others, and no submitting forms with someone else's personal information.
6. Our content
The Site's design, text, illustrations (including Eddy and Murph), and reports are ours or used with permission. You may share and print reports for personal, non-commercial use. Underlying water-quality data belongs to its public sources.
7. No warranty
The Site and reports are provided "as is." We work to keep the data accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that third-party data (including EWG's compilation) is complete, error-free, or reflects today's water. We may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwiftPro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on the free report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the separate written terms of any plumbing work you hire us to do.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It's part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
11. Changes
If we update these terms, we'll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
