Year-One Payback Guarantee

How does my membership actually help neighbors?

A part of every membership pools into the Neighbors Helping Neighbors fund. Each month it pays for free work, and, when it's needed most, free essential equipment, for NOVA neighbors who can't cover it: a Hero (veteran or senior), a Welcome Home family (new homeowners), or a Helping Hand household where something critical broke and there's no money to fix it.

"Equipment" means real hardware when it matters, a water heater, a thermostat, a whole-home water filter, plus the install. Recipients are nominated by the community, and there's no follow-up sales pitch.

Is this a charity? Is my membership tax-deductible?

No. Neighbors Helping Neighbors Virginia is a community program founded and operated by SwiftPro, not a registered 501(c)(3) charity. Your membership is a home-maintenance membership, not a donation, so it is not tax-deductible. You get the full member value either way, the give-back is funded out of what the program collects, a bonus on top of what you're already paying for.

How does the membership pay for itself?

Without a membership, SwiftPro charges $99 to diagnose your HVAC or $49 for an experienced plumber to visit. Members pay $0 on every visit, up to 3 a year, plus 15% off the repair. A single service call typically saves more than a full year of membership, the first call usually covers the whole year.

Is there a contract or cancellation fee?

No long-term contract, no cancellation fee. The membership is month-to-month (or pay annually for the discount). Cancel anytime by phone or email; we prorate any unused months. It also transfers to the buyer if you sell your home.

Can I nominate a neighbor instead of joining?

Yes, anyone can nominate a neighbor, even before joining. Call (571) 396-0299 or mention it on the form below and we'll take it from there. The more members, the more neighbors the fund can reach.
