Germicidal UV Light $397 reg. $655

Cleaning clears out what's there today, a UV-C germicidal light keeps it from growing back. The Fresh-Aire UV Blue-Tube UV installs right inside your HVAC at the cooling coil and runs 24/7, bathing the coil and the moving air in UV-C light that disrupts the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other germs so they can't reproduce or recirculate through your home, the same germicidal light technology used in hospitals. It also keeps the coil clean, which helps your system run more efficiently.

How it works: UV-C light at the coil neutralizes bacteria, viruses & other germs 24/7, so clean air keeps moving through your home.
Runs 24/7 · targets bacteria, viruses & other germs
Most new homeowners do the duct cleaning + AC tune-up together, add the dryer vent, and your whole new home gets a fresh start. Pick what you want when you book.

What an Air Scrubber actually does

The upgrade people ask about after the ducts are clean. What it does, what it doesn't, and who tested what.

An Air Scrubber by ActivePure installed by SwiftPro inside the supply ductwork of a Northern Virginia home, its blue lamp lit
One we installed, lamp lit, inside the supply duct

It works on the air after it leaves the duct

A filter catches what is big enough to hit it. That is the whole job of a filter, and it is why a clean house can still smell like the people who lived in it. An Air Scrubber by ActivePure is a small unit our crew mounts inside your ductwork. Nothing sits on a counter, there is no filter to remember, and it runs on the air your system already moves.

The part that makes it different from a light at the coil: what it produces leaves the duct with your supply air and keeps working out in the room, on the air and on the surfaces you actually touch. Every room the system reaches.

Your blower pulls house air through the duct, the ActivePure cell treats it on the way past, and what it makes rides the supply air out into the room, where it keeps working on the air and the surfaces.

2It treats the moving airLight and the ActivePure cell act on the air your blower is already pushing, 24/7, with no filter to change.
3It reaches the roomsWhat it makes leaves the vents with your air and keeps working out where you live, not just inside the ductwork.

The 99.999% of surface germs figure you see quoted is Aerus's own tested performance for the equipment, not a SwiftPro test, and results in a real house depend on the house. Priced per system, and not every home needs one, so ask when we call to confirm your visit or ask the tech at the door. The 53 installs are SwiftPro's own 2026 numbers out of ServiceTitan.

Questions, answered

Is duct cleaning really worth it?
In a home that just changed hands, yes, you're starting fresh with air you never shared with anyone. We clean every supply and return, so what circulates through your house is yours, not the last owners'.
Does $299 really cover the whole home?
Yes, the new-homeowner price covers your full duct system in a standard single-family home. If yours is unusually large or has multiple systems, we'll tell you when we call, before anything is booked, no surprise charges.
What's in the $67 AC tune-up?
A full inspection of the system you inherited, a coil clean, a refrigerant + airflow check, and a safety + thermostat test, so you know the AC works before summer, not after it quits.
Why add the $150 dryer vent cleaning?
A vent packed with the last owners' lint is a genuine fire hazard and makes your dryer run hot and slow. We clear the full run and show you the before & after, a quick add-on (reg. $250, now $150) most new homeowners tack on.
How long does it take? Is it messy?
A tune-up runs about 45–60 minutes; a whole-home duct cleaning about 2–4 hours depending on size. We use sealed equipment and protect your floors, no mess left behind.
Do I have to do both?
No. Most new homeowners do both for a true fresh start, but book whichever you want, just check the boxes above.
What's the $29 water test & plumbing safety inspection?
For $29 we test the water you inherited and run a plumbing safety check, water quality, plus a look for leaks, pressure issues and aging connections. You get straight answers on what's worth addressing before it turns into an emergency.
What's the Germicidal UV Light?
It's a UV-C germicidal light (the Fresh-Aire UV Blue-Tube UV) that installs inside your HVAC at the cooling coil and runs 24/7. UV-C light disrupts the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other germs as they pass over the coil and through the airstream, so they can't reproduce or recirculate through your home, the same germicidal technology used in hospitals. Cleaning gets your ducts clean now; the UV light keeps it from growing back, and a cleaner coil helps your system run more efficiently. $397 installed (reg. $655).
What's an Air Scrubber?
It's a small unit, Air Scrubber by ActivePure, that our crew mounts inside your ductwork. It runs on the air your system already moves, so there is nothing on a counter and no filter to change. The difference from a light at the coil: what it produces leaves the duct with your supply air and keeps working out in the room, on the air and on the surfaces. The 99.999% of surface germs figure is Aerus's own tested performance for the equipment, not a SwiftPro test. Priced per system, so ask when we call.
What's the $99 vent fogging?
After a duct cleaning, we fog the vents with a disinfectant + deodorizer that coats the duct surfaces, wiping out bacteria, mildew and the stale "old-house" smell. Just $99 (reg. $225), most people pair it with the duct cleaning so the whole home smells clean, not just looks it.
Who's eligible for new-homeowner pricing?
Anyone new to their home in roughly the last year, anywhere in our service area, Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland.
